I actually picked up several older Krause books for less than $12 each through local auctions. Don't buy them for the pricing but for the other info they provide. After all, information on the 19th and 20th Century versions haven't changed much in the way of coins.

Ever try to put a 2-liter bottle in the cup holder of your car?

You know why? Because it's convenient. And I have worked my way into a position where I can afford to pay for that convenience over the past 30 some odd years. Do you have a drinking fountain at home? If not, you're using somebody else's water.

Seriously, you're justifying theft??? Remind me never to invite you to my house. I'm sure I have many things inside and outside my coin cabinets you'd love to have, but can't see depriving yourself of your hard-earned money to buy. You'd probably rather deprive me of my hard-earned money. This is simply unbelievable. Theft is theft, regardless of what you read on some off-the-wall web sites. Try reading this:

No doubt, but he was asking if he could buy it. Do you really think he meant for less than $3 ?

If I sold you my copy then I wouldn't have one, now would I? I would have to buy another copy. Doesn't make much sense.

Speaking as someone who has made their living off intellectual property, directly and indirectly, what is being stolen is my thought, my talent, my research, and the months I spend developing a project to completion. It's not the money, that I can care less about, but the total lack of respect for what I do and the little value you put on it. There is also a risk involve in creating a new work. Time and money spent on a project only to be declined. The sense of entitlement is see here is no different than if I were to show up at your house, sleep on your couch, rifle through your coin collection, and drive away in your car. Hey after all it's there.

Sorry for the rant, off the soap box now, all is well............

Probably illegally copied CDs. Illegal here at least.

In 'buying' an illegal copy do you clear your conscience and transfer the guilt to the seller?

Depends on what your sense of entitlement to other people's property is...

The main reason to have it is to look up coins when the number is on the flip or the ebay description.
