I found a 1861 British half-penny

A couple of days ago, somebody spent this well-worn veteran. It's a little bigger than a quarter. I found a 1910 wheat penny a couple of days ago which was the oldest coin that I had found in circulation, but that record only lasted about two days.

    I've got 1867 and 1903 British pennies but I didn't find them in CIRCULATION:eek:

I'm in the US. I accepted it as a quarter because I assume that is what the person thought it was.
