    A new greek I picked up. Ive always wanted this reverse type and the price was right so I bought one finally.

    AE dichalkon
    O: Horseman galloping right, wearing petasos and chlamys.
    R: “KR-AN/NO”, hydria (water carrying vessel) mounted on cart.

    Wow, I REMEMBER this post.

    I had joined CT in May-2013, and lurked without posting for about 2 years.

    Philip II then Alexander III had firm control of Thessaly during this time.

    I also have this other Thessaly horse coin but I can't seem to find an exact ID for it. I believe it is from Larissa though.
