Hi Rickipedia! I'm a YN (I turn 16 0n Monday) and I collect mostly U.S. coins. Don't worry, there are a few of us YNs

 

I know user "xGAJx" is a YN, but I haven't heard from him recently...

 

And is the only person on my ignore list...

 

Same way I look at it. 18/19 I would consider the last years of being a YN. I'm 21 btw, used to collect US coins but got bored of those and now collect ancients and some medieval. I even have a gold ancient in my collection.

 

I'm 23 so probably missed the cutoff by a year if its 22. My main collecting interest is toned nickels and pattern/experimental coins.

 

Hey. I'm a Young Numismatist too! I have a pretty good collection of foreign coins from each country. I am also working on a United States type set - picked up a 1860 New Orleans half dime today!

 

I was 18 once, but that was back in 1968...........

 

I thought a YN was just someone new to collecting.. a newbie. Shows how much of a NEWBIE I am..
