Define "fair". If you like and will enjoy owning it, what's four bucks. If you think it was some great under-priced steal and/or will be worth a bundle someday, then no. Let's face it... it's really just a dollar coin in generic "BU" $3 plastic.
I guess it was fair because I had $5 in my pocket and I thought that the Edgeview holders were cool, so I bought it
hmmmm. maybe I should try reselling here in Korea because all US coins are a bit more pricey here...?
4 DOLLARS! I woulda got it, probably CAUSE IM DESPERATE. I have not held 1 Slabbed coin in 3 months of coin collecting :3
I know, I have bought 4 slabbed coins at once after noticing that many professionals have a lot of slabbed coins. When I received my order They were, smaller than I thought, and I like 'em now 'cause I think they are cute.
well mate believe it or not i have collected coins for about 9 years and didnt own a slabbed coin until just 2 years ago !!!
Especially the PCGS first generation ones, they are so small plus the old ANA ANACS slab is so small too
I would just buy a 4 dollar one like rick did just to satisfy myself. I DONT THINK I COULD WAIT 7 YEARS
My friend who knows ABSOLUTELY nothing about coins, no interest, got a 1912 half from his relative who is a numismatist. NGC Edgeview slab, Fine details Cleaned. He showed it to me and I said it was half dollar. He will probably crack it out and spend it. Why can't I get a relative like this? Oh well, I have a grandpa who gives me old Korean coins...
