I think it's worth one dollar, but can also see it as being fair to both parties,

Define "fair". If you like and will enjoy owning it, what's four bucks. If you think it was some great under-priced steal and/or will be worth a bundle someday, then no. Let's face it... it's really just a dollar coin in generic "BU" $3 plastic.

In today's market, yes, it was fair.

After all, it cost $10 just to get it slabbed.

I guess it was fair because I had $5 in my pocket and I thought that the Edgeview holders were cool, so I bought it:)

I know, I have bought 4 slabbed coins at once after noticing that many professionals have a lot of slabbed coins. When I received my order They were, smaller than I thought, and I like 'em now 'cause I think they are cute.

My friend who knows ABSOLUTELY nothing about coins, no interest, got a 1912 half from his relative who is a numismatist. NGC Edgeview slab, Fine details Cleaned. He showed it to me and I said it was half dollar. He will probably crack it out and spend it. :(:(:(
Why can't I get a relative like this? Oh well, I have a grandpa who gives me old Korean coins...
