Hey cointalk, Are any of you guys Young Numismatists? If so, tell me about your collection knowing that there are YNs around the world makes me feel good for coin collecting!
You will find lots of YNs here. Windchild is very knowledgable regarding ancients, and I have "friended" many other knowledgable YNs, such as Piman, morgandollartj, etc... I gave up my YN status last year, though.
As far as the ANA is concerned, 22 is the cutoff. I am a YN of three years being the N, but a total of 18 years lived.
I consider 18 and under to be YN, although I am unsure of the "exact" cutoff age. If ANA cutoff is 22 as stated, I guess I am still a YN at 19.
Hey Ricky! I collect US coins and focus mainly on building sets, from shield nickels to Roosevelt dimes to type sets. I CRH often, and have dabbled a bit in foreign coins and US currency. I also hoard silver
There are quite a few YN's on CoinTalk including me, Caz and Piman I collect Ancients, with collections based around Sassanid Coins and their copies, Quasi-Independent Kingdoms under Parthian rule, Carthage, the First 18 Caesar's [1 coin per, nice coins only], and Britannia (Roman Britain). I also collect US type and Newfoundland coins (by Date) Thanks
Yeah whatever. Some of us just never grow up and still pursue the hobby with the enthusiasm of youth!
"get old of..." was this a Freudian slip? Suggestion - if you are a YN (22 years old or less) why not tag YN onto your name like Windchild did?
