mpcusa; I have seen several registry sets displayed at the larger national shows lately. I mentioned a few years back, that you should try and display some of your notes that way. Have you ever looked into this? At the time you said this wasn't a standard practice (I think?). But now it appears many of the top end sets are being shown. Any possibility of this happening for you? I would really enjoy seeing them in person.
Was thinking about doing that especially with my Series 681 set which is Currently number 1 with a weighted GPA of 70.105 the highest possible Score is a 72.000 !! it,s been #1 3 years running actually got a top award This year out of everybody that collect,s mpc so it,a a great honor If somebody would offer me a place to display it at a major show i would Consider it
Hey Rusty, My Series 681 would be perfect for that function as it was used in Vietnam Exclusively just let me know i could do a peice and display those note,s Again if you would like
You Can go to pcgs currency and veiw the set, i also posted it here but with The new format not sure if it,s still available to see? i will check in to it May re post and add some additional facts. PCGS set name (ORANGE COUNTY COLLECTION)
Every major show (CPMX, Memphis, ANA) has exhibit space. All you have to do is take the time to fill out an exhibit application, set it up and take it down.
I'm not sure what state your Orange County Collection is in, but if it's Orange County Florida, you have a short ride over to the Orlando FUN Convention in January. Several CT people are making the trip.
