Coin World this week did a articular about coins like this and all the copper/Bronze 1/12+ 1/4 odd denominations.

Here are 2 "pig rupee's" 1913 & 1917. Note elephant that looks like a pig on Georgie boys cloak (It kinda looks like a pig). Also dot on obverse, denotes the Bombay mint.

 

While I'm sure I have a few east indies coppers kicking around. I'll chuck this one in as I didn't see one yet.. 1 Indian Gold Fanam.

 

ARe the fanam's still the smallest gold coins ever minted ???

 

1/10th fanam is the smallest... it is just that 1/10 of a fanam 10 of these make up one fanam as above

As I understand it people used to keep these between lip and gums to prevent losing these in their pockets/purses so sneezing could be very profitable to those around them

 

Here a 1883 1/12 Anna. I should get in about 2 weeks,its coming from Australia.
