so your telling me you have over $11000 just sitting around your house is your mother rich have her take some of that money and buy some nice coins screw the bills
sorry it was night and i mis callculated lol. still thats a nice chuck of money and if your willing to trade it off why not spend it on some thing nice. or buy a large lot and piece it out
Because some of those notes carry a premium. It would be a shame to release the uncirculated ones back into circulation.
This post is wrong for so many reasons. An astonishing lack of punctuation. Not knowing the difference between your and you're. Bad math. A suggestion to "screw the bills and buy coins" on the Paper Money forum.
To the op, you might want to invest in a reference book to give you an idea of what bills are keepers and which are spenders. My favorite reference for paper money is Friedberg's "Paper Money of the United States" There are values assigned to the notes, plus some explanation of mules, and errors. Lots of large photos in color, who knows, you might find another area of the numismatic hobby to enjoy.
True, it has nothing to do with the OP, but you should pay heed anyway. You are not qualified to come here to teach. You do, however, have much to learn. Steve's post is a good kick off point for you.
Well Rick, you know how "youthful enthusiasm" sometimes overrides common sense. If I was a YN, I'd probably read as much I as could on the hobby, ask the questions I couldn't find answers on (though most answers are readily available if you look hard enough), and try to learn as much as I could. Then after a few years, if I felt I was qualified, I would attempt to answer a question or two. Maybe next year I'll be able to do just that.
