I agree. MD (Machine Doubling). Not to be picky, but RPDs (or Re-Punched Dates) are not possible after 1909 because of changes in processes at the Mint. Any die that depicts two dates after this would be considered a Doubled Die not a Re-Punched Date.

In addition, there cannot be "Over Dates" after 1909 either for the same reason. The 1942/41 Mercury dime and 1943/42 Jeferson nickel are not "Over Dates" but actually Class 3 Doubled Dies.

For more info on RPDs, check this link out: http://www.doubleddie.com/58327.html

    It's great stuff. Keep looking!

I just check a 1939-D Mercury Dime with "RPD" in Ebay. If RPD are no possible after 1909... then this seller is laying?

Hi Frank. I think is "My-coin-shop". And said also... I'M AN HONEST SELLER. PLEASE DO THE SAME FOR ME WHEN YOU RECEIVE THE ITEM.
It's sad, if He doesn't know what He's doing.
