Here are a few. The show was NOT well attended Thursday or Friday, sadly.

What do you grade them and what are your thoughts on the surfaces?

Most of these coins have issues, which is fine with me since I chose to buy raw coins, not slabbed ones. Anyway, here are my grades (details or not):
    1803 $1- VG10
    1860-P $1-AU50
    1928-P $1- AU50
    1892 Barber 25c- AU58
    1909-S Indian- VF30
    1875-P 20c- AU55

Sounds good and it appears as though you know what you are buying, which is why I asked in the manner that I did previously.

Other bits of news from the show:
    1. I got to see Larry Lee's newly purchased 1913 PR63 V Nickel at the show. He had an armed security guard assigned just to that one case the entire time.
    2. There was one robbery on Thursday evening. A buyer left the show and drove 2 blocks to Denny's. WHen he came out, his car had been broken into and the theif had stolen all his coins. A bunch of slabbed and raw Morgans. Police suspect someone attending the show targeted him because of his age and followed him to the restaurant. Sad.

    Nice coins, sad story. :(

It's sad when this happens. Unfortunately, too many coin collectors bring it upon themselves by leaving their coins unattended in the car. They think it will never happen to them. That's just plain stupid. Go to a drive-thru window.

Hope it wasn't Julian Leidman (again).

He wasn't at the show. But I looked at his 1832 Capped Half Dollar. PCGS UNC DETAILS QUESTIONABLE COLOR priced at $10,995.00 in Baltimore. No idea how or where he came up with that price unless it was formerly MS-66 at some point. Weird.

There is no Overton that rare for the 1832 date.
