Okay, youse guys and gals, as of noon today, the price of many of the most popular silver collector's items have been reduced by about $5.00 an ounce. Get 'em soon, just in case silver decides to spike again. No, I am not an employee of the Mint. Just tryin' to pass along some news.
Thanks for reminding me. I only order one set from the mint and it is the silver proof 14 coin set. It dropped to $53.95 which is like a $7.00 savings.
Well, I was thinking more like the bent over position one should assume if they buy more high premium manufactured collectibles of no rarity whatsoever and the price continues to drop... Take up Yoga, downward facing dog:
I have heard that many people who ordered the 2013 West Point Enhanced Set have been spending a lot of time perfecting this particular movement. Those planning on ordering the 2013 Gold Reverse Proof Buffalo would probably be well-advised to start practicing it also.
Ya know 'Hugger, Chris and me go way back. We don't always see 'eye to eye' but we do respect one another. We don't keep score, but a pary and thrust with a touche or two is most amiable.........
Alrightee then.........back to our regularly scheduled programming. Wouldn't you know it; the only item I really wanted from the Mint markdown is the Great Basin puck and now it doesn't even go on sale until July 25th. By then, we may see an upward price adjustment. Damn you, Mint! You're always leading us down the boulevard of broken dreams.
Did you say "...regularly scheduled programming." "Are (you) programmed to receive"? Have you "heard the mission bell"? Have you become a prisoner to the Mint's marketing mission...? ...insert musical interlude, ala green18/Ken YouTube embed.
Looks like the price drop might have finally led to a sell out of the 2012 Coin and Currency Set. It went to backorder.
