Don't worry, it's still there. Just click on your (or anybody's) username next to a post, and some info field will come up that also has the post count.

The site has a very nice modern feel to it Peter. I'm still getting used to it but so far it's been great. Only problem so far for me is posting pictures. I know there's a size limitation but I can't post any pictures at all, even ones I posted under the old format. Am I missing something? Thanks for all your hard work.

Okay, so now I've found out how to view the various old threads I've kept myself subscribed to. Along the bottom of a member's "Watched Threads" list, select "Show all watched threads" to reveal them. Unfortunately in this new layout, they all get dumped out in a timeline stream with none of the organization I previously had them filed under. And the options for sorting them don't allow us to sort them by forum subheading: Ancient, Paper Money, US Coins, etc. Only if you receive email updates or not when a new post is made to a given thread. ...Sigh!

I just noticed my ignore requests did not transfer over. Should I re-enter or will they show up over time?

I hadn't noticed that, better add them back. Click on the person's avatar and you'll see the Ignore link there.

Once again Peter, thanks so much to you and to the mods for the hard work you put into this forum. It's a great place to exchange knowledge about coins. The new look and software is good, and I think members are getting the hang of it. One question:

I now can see the albums listed in a separate forum/heading, which I think is a nice idea. Much easier to just peruse people's albums rather than view albums by first visiting their personal/profile page.

But when I go to click on the photos within a specific album, I get an alert that says: "You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action."

Is there is a fix in the works for this? Or do I need to go somewhere within the site and do something to give myself authorization to view the albums?

Thanks for pointing that out, try looking at them now.

I can get in and view the photos now. Thanks Peter!

One suggestion, and I know you've probably got bigger fish to fry as you intro the new software, but it seems the albums have saved photos in batches of four.

Is there any way to store up to 60 photos per file the way the old albums were stored? It just made for easier scrolling through an album. I believe the old albums had room for 60 photos, which equated to 30 coins per album assuming separate photos for obverse and reverse.
Although some of the more savvy members had figured out how to post obv/rev in one photo.

No worries if you can't. It's still possible to view all coin photos someone had previously uploaded in their album. Thanks again.

When we get a new gallery system installed it might be more flexible like that.

It's sad. I can't find my classic commem album. I put a lot of time and effort into that album. And Americas First Medals is missing a lot of content. C'est la vie......back to the drawing board.

Will customization be able to be done to the profile pages again ? My profile pic is gone along with my background ,ect...

Looks good though on the other stuff.

Looks great, I for one know how much work and skill it takes. New design makes it look less forum-ey which I like. Plus tapa talk still working... wish more forums were this good!

Maybe I am missing it, but it does not look to me like there is an option to have a profile picture any more.

Didn't notice till you said it but you're right. Maybe it's just another item that Peter hasn't gotten to yet, that would be my guess anyway. And probably not high on the priority list. I've been throwing things on his plate every day, and so have many others.

I suspect that given time it'll all be worked out ;)

I would be nice if you could get the "likes" imported back in. I used that feature to "bookmark" threads that I wanted to keep. I'm not a huge fan of the "bubbly" look of the new site, but I guess everything is moving that way. Maybe I can change it back to the old look (but I haven't looked too hard yet).

Load times are much faster than the previous setup. And the UI flows more smoothly. IMO, a great decision to make the change.
