I don't think the view thread pages should contain the right column...it makes the body of the posts too small, and you end up with a bunch of empty white space after the "Recent Topics" box is done anyway.

The new look ... looks good. Must admit I am glad that it's not my job to do all the revamping. There sure is a lot more work involved than moving a box from one storage room to another. Kudos!

(And now it's time to have a closer look, fiddle with all those settings, and try a couple of new things out ...)

It took a bit of time to soak in - but I am liking the dynamic look to the new site and it is growing on me.

Very nice, like the new format

 

I guess I missed something along the way. I have the CT URL pinned on one of those bars at the top of the page. All day yesterday I received the message - Coin Talk - Error. I assumed there must be something wrong with your server. I never thought to click on home which was in small print under the Coin Talk - Error which was in very large print. It would have been nice to know that the change was starting yesterday.

Today, I clicked on 'Home" and got the new setup. Wanting to know what happened I did some searching. Finally I got to announcements yet this important change announcement didn't pop out at you. It is buried three lines down the page.

Today I wanted to change my password and got a temp one through an email. So far so good. I then typed the following in the search box "change password" and I see the search function doesn't not function as it should as it brought up a bunch of items not pertaining to changing a password. So how do I change my temporary password?

So far the jury is out on the new setup. I just hope the search function is improved.

 

Looks good. Not sure if it was already mentioned, but the only thing I don't like are the avatar's next to each thread topic when in a certain section. Obviously when inside the thread they are fine, but all the different avatar's on the left I am not a fan of. Everything else looks nice.

It'll take a little getting used to, but I can tell you all put some effort into keeping the familiar layout, and that helps a lot.

 

I like it so far. Its very phone friendly for loading pics.

 

I'm not quite sure i like the look as much but that'll just take some getting used to. I do like that the uploader is faster i think (i'll try that on this post) and that the site is running much faster.
