    It seems some older content is gone, or maybe the old style links in Google just take to nonexisting pages. Is this just a temporary link style settings (htaccess) issue?

    Yes, I have to write a new htaccess file to redirect the old links to the new ones.

    Yes. The way I had the permissions structure setup resembles a Rube Goldberg machine. Right now I'm trying to unravel all that. The way it will work when I get that figured out is that newly registered members will not be able to have signature links (spammers always sign up and put links in the signature). Members who've been around a while (much like the buy/sell/trade sections) will have that ability "unlocked" to them.

    For tablets, the selection of any page other than the first page is not easy (close to impossible) from the thread list (like World & Ancient Coins, etc.)

    Within the next few weeks I'll be adding a responsive design which will make the whole site work much better on different tablet sizes.

    As I am on a Windows Surface, it uses a full Windows 8 operating system, just shrunk [mini-computer].


    To clarify the issue I will be using the example of Guess the Next Poster thread from the General Discussion Forum.

    When in the General Discussion forum page (the one that lists all the threads), the numbers don't show except when you hover over them with a mouse, which you can't on a majority of tablets (I can only when I have my keyboard attached).

    Otherwise, you have to open the thread, and then load the last page.

    I think the responsive design will address that type of thing. I don't have a Windows 8 anything here to test it out though.
