    Box #5 of Halves: Skunk
    Box #6 of Halves: Skunk
    Box #7 of Halves: 6-40%
    Box #8 of Halves: 7-40%, 1-90%

Opened the rest of the BWR's last night except the Double Wender and the results were certainly much better then expected. One of the rolls had 5-90%'s in it! That's a first for me.
Total for that monster box was 3-40%, 20-1964, 20-Franklins, and (when you include the 2 Walkers on the ends of that last roll) 23-Walking Liberties! That's 63-90%!
The mintage breakdown is as follows:
    Walkers - 1917,1920S,1927S(3),1935D,1936,1937,1940,1941(2),1942,1942S,1943,1943D,1944(3),1945,1946S,1947D
    Franklins - 1949(3),1950D,1951,1954S,1958D,1959,1961D,1962,1962D,1963(4),1963D(5)
23 Ounces of Silver in one box!
Thank you for all the congratulatory remarks. I truly wish everyone this experience as it really is exciting and I'm still floating on cloud 9.

BC - looking at the distribution of the dates/mms on those Franklins and Walkers it certainly looks like someone's collection got cashed for face.

Agreed Mr. Flute. That's 3 rolls of silver (1 roll of 1964s, 1 roll of Franklins, and 1 roll of Walkers). I can't wait to pick up next weeks boxes at that source to find the rest of that Walker roll. Unless, of course it all already contained within that Walker double ender!

Dude how can you stand to just let a double walker ended stay wrapped for this long!? Those rolls would be in shreds in a heart beat. You must be a really calm guy lol. Nice find by the way!

You know, when I made a similar haul a couple of years ago I had to breathe deep and take my time - there were so many 40% halves mixed in that I was even missing them and casting them into the discard pile. I was nice and calm when I started finding Frankies and WL halves, the latter were the first of those I had ever found. Afterwards I whooped it up and the whole family came running to see what was wrong in the dining room!

Knowing that most franklins/walkers are worth 13 dollars at the least you could easily make 1000's of dollars on this monster box. Soooo jealous:eek:

I did out the math, a total of 23.23014 oz, with spot SILVER AT $19.72/OZ, that's a total melt value of $458.1, man you were close to breaking even on that box, imagine if you made a profit off that box though.

    anyway congragulations bud

also can we get pics of the final results now that you have opened the enders?

Sorry, afraid not. I already re-wrapped them for storage and fished out the good ones for my albums.
If it helps, just image sitting in a living room with wall to wall, floor to ceiling silver coins everywhere.;)
