I remember the thread over on the other board you guys posted at. I lurked. It would be a feather in a cap for sure. I would love all 12 to be silver but I am frugal and cant see spending that amount when coppers do just fine for some. Heck I love my claudius I AE better then any other 12 caesars era coin I own, even octavian.
My first of my Twelve Caesar's Collection: Nero Sestertius Nero AE Sestertius 65 AD, Rome NERO CLAVD CAESAR AVG GER P M TR P IMP P P Laureate bust right S - C in Field, ROMA in exergue Roma with parazonium and victory, seated left. 34 mm, 26.53 g RIC 273 Extra: No Tooling or Smoothing, much better surfaces in hand
Nero AR Tetradrachm of Antioch, Syria. Regnal year 8, Caesarian year 110 61/62 AD. 14.05g Obverse: NERWNOS KAISAROS SEBASTOU, laureate bust right, wearing aegis. Reverse: Eagle standing left on thunderbolt, palm branch before, H/IP behind. Ref: RPC4182
Here are two of my 12 Caesar tetradrachms. We can start with Vespasian Tetradrachm, Alexandria Mint Obverse: AVTOK KAIS SEBA OVESPASIANOV, laureate head right, LB Before Reverse: ALEXANDREIA Alexandria standing left, wearing elephant headress, holding wreath and sceptre Nero Tetradrachm, Alexandria Mint Obverse: NERW KLAU KAIS SEB GER, radiate bust right wearing aegis REVERSE: AVTOKPA, helmeted and curassed bust of Roma right Also the eyes have been deliberately punched out sometime along its life. I personally would like to be as a part of damnatio memoriae but can't say for certain. I have a total of three Nero tetrodrachms but this is probably the best one for details. I also have a Galba tetradrachm that I attached to this post but it is a budget Galba and not of the greatest quality.

here's a couple coins ENG gave me from the period... coin on the right and left are unknown, but the left coin has some great countermarks..dolphin on reverse... above is the obverse with all sorts of cool marks. these are either tiberius or titus era countermarks.
Dupondius for Germanicvs struck under Caligula. This coin commemorates the return of 2 of the legionary standards lost in the battle of the Teutoburger Forest.
Thank you, Bing. I thought so too, and best if all, it was quite affordable as it was possibly overlooked due to the weak strike.
I've looked for a Dupondius like this but they are usually too expensive. Also they are highly faked. Have you checked yours against the fake databases?
