I'd say real, AU, cleaned and they are called seated liberty and it looks like it has a die crack from about 10 o clock to 1 I'm not sure on that though leave that to the experts I'm still kinda new to this myself

IMO it looks to be, UNC. It has been cleaned a long time ago, when it was the customary thing to do. A beautiful coin !!

I think the highest grade you get is MS60 but that's just an opinion

The melt value is about $6.79 otherwise I guess its worth whatever a collector is willing to pay they jump all over the place on ebay

Thank you all for your help. I kind of figured AU55 maybe 58.

As for the cracked die, I see that it looks like there is also one at 5 O clock and again at 7. do these cracks in the die detract from the value?

Had to google what the 108 was and I see that it is the spiked 4 variety. I did not even notice the spike. Thanks :)

Hard to tell from the pictures. But I think it's lower than AU-58.

Sometimes a cracked die makes them worth more to a collector

I looked on PSGS photograde and it looks to be Xf-45 or at most Au-50
