This is a 2007 George Washington Presidential Dollar that is missing the Date and the Motto around the edge, also the reverse looks a little struck off center !!! I thought this one was a nice find considering I was simply searching my pocket change today !!! " Sharing is[IMG] Caring "[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

You may want to check the diameter and weight of that coin. Those 2 lines going around the edge toss up flags for me.

Nice find, but very over rated, just with pcgs of 17,000 graded ! this one was of the biggest loser of value according to pcgs, the highest found was a ms-67 that sold for over 12,000.00 dollars, and within the year, lost half it valve !!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(

Nice find! Even with the mass number of this error I haven't found one yet! Way to Go!

I agree with Jim. The inner core (copper colored band) shouldn't show so pronounced . When the "error" 1st came out I re-created multiple altered pieces for teaching tools for our buyers. They all have that look to them. Get it properly weighed & checked on the diameter .

Just looks worn to me. You can find this a lot with reeded coins that are worn smooth. I'm no expert just my observation.

The original was not reeded, lettered edge.

i think he is referring to the fact that reeded coins can be worn smooth so why not one with edge lettering

based on the condition of the coin, even if genuine, this coin would not have much of a premium. That being said I do believe this is real.
