Picked up those 8 boxes on Friday and worked on them over the weekend. 4 were from my normal Thursday pickup, but the Brinks had delivered them late so I picked them up Friday. The 30 count is for the month of June, so it's only about 2 boxes a night.
My most productive month in terms of silver was February when I only went through 49 boxes and got 30 oz. My busiest was April with 87 boxes but only obtained 25 oz. It really does depend on luck. Sometimes you find someone's silver dump and most of the time you don't. Just have to keep up with it.

Do you check them for varieties, or strictly for silver/clad? I can't imagine being patient enough to check 2 boxes a night every day of the week.... I have enough frustration going thru my skunk box once a week... LOL!

Man I need to start learning to use mine more accurately. I can't seem to stay motivated doing it because the detector isn't very good and neither am I.

Just in case you haven't already gotten a dozen PM's to this effect, DON'T CLEAN THEM! They're probably damaged anyhow, but there's amazing detail on the left-hand quarter and the half. The half, especially, is still likely to be a very, very valuable coin.

    Good find!

I collect silver, foreign, proofs and odds and ends. I've already got a few complete sets of Kennedies minus the 1970D. I don't know which errors to look for although a few have crossed my path and I've kept them. For example, I usually keep the 1965-1985 stamped gold plated coins (figure they'll be worth something in 2015?), Also have a coin with, what can best be called, warts.
But generally, you're right. I do look for silver by edge searching and whatever stands out when I perform a face scan.

So I go to one of my credit unions a bit out of the way, because I am out there on business this morning and the young and very attractive young blonde teller is the one waiting on me. I ask for my usual rolls of coins, but she says she will get them but that she was bored one afternoon and searched through a few rolls on her own but didn't want the "old pennies" she found. She sold me the 11 of them over the counter for 11 cents:

    1 1910
    1 1917-S
    1 1923
    1 1936
    1 1940
    2 1945-D
    1 1946
    1 1951
    2 1957-D

She is the real catch though- for a guy in his early 20s - because she has an eye for coins and says she may think about collecting them sometime.

Box of Halves: Skunk. This was the first BWR Sealed Box that had all 50 rolls with opened ends on them. It's like someone at Brinks opened them, searched them and then sealed them in a Box. I wasn't too happy to see that when I opened the box.

    Box of Nickels: 3xCND (1960, 1989, 1993), a 5 Colones Costa Rica Coin, BU 1961, BU 1965, 2009P, 2009D, 35 pre1960 including 1944P War, 2 Buffs (dateless and a partial date 1920 something!) Is that a D or an S??? See pics!

FWIW - Brinks doesn't open them because they wouldn't be able to sell them to the bank that way. Someone bought the box, searched the rolls - rewrapped them and resealed them in the box. It is annoying and you would think the person that searched them would at least mark them as having been searched. Around my area people put an X on the roll to note that it has been searched and you are not likely to find anything - but one time I opened a roll that I had gotten like that - and the other guy missed a couple of 40% halves.
