It can be crazy, one time I could only get $30 in rolled dimes from my credit union - and I got all the way to the very last of the six rolls and found three silver Roosies. One time I bought $10 worth of nickels from another bank and found a 1912 Liberty.

Excellent results today. I waited for the person in front of me to finish using the coin machine, and when they walked off, I looked in the reject tray. This is what I found:
    1979 Italian Lire- uncirculated! (pre-Euro)
    Belgian 5 Franc (pre-Euro)
6 or 7 euro cents (ranging from one cent to five cents)
Costa Rica- 10 something (I forget what it was called)
    An Egyptian coin
2 50 pence British and about 5 1 penny pieces
    A Mexican dollar
    1 Canadian cent, 2 nickels, 3-4 dimes, 3 quarters, and a 2 dollar coin
A few regular USA pennies, dimes and quarters
There might be more that I’m forgetting, I’ll check a bit later.
I got about 12 nickel rolls and about 15 penny rolls Two wheats from the fifties, two incredibly shiny 1964 nickels (possible proof), about 6 nickels from the 40s and a few from the 50s, a dime in a penny roll, a few more Canadian nickels and pennies. One of my best roll hunting days, mostly because of the foreign coins! :D

I had a great lunch today! I'm downtown for training all week, and I decided to stop by some banks during lunch. Luck was on my side. Pulled up to a Chase and asked for halves and they sent over $13 worth. I open up the envelope and inside I see some of the most beautiful halves I've ever collected. There were 3x64's and 20x69's....which were in near mint condition:)!! I'll be out for lunch tomorrow as well....

Did you ask the person if they wanted the reject coins? Personally, it's one thing to find an un-manned CoinStar machine and find treasure. It's another waiting for a person to finish and then to take their coins without knowing if they knew about them. For me, I always ask the person if they want the coins before I take them after they leave.

Box of Nickels: 23 pre1960, CND (1987), 2x2009D. No Wars, Buffs, Proofs, V-Nicks, Key or Semi-Key dates. :( Oh well, it's been a while since one of these so it's ok.

It was obvious that they didn't want them. Some of them were clearly left on the top of the machine, I saw them put the coins there, and they definitely knew they were leaving coins behind. I guess it would have been nice if I asked, but I really don't think they wanted them.

Positive karma goes a long way when giving coins back to the person that left them there - most of the time people just tell me to keep them and don't want foreign coins etc. A couple of months ago I gave an older lady her coins back and she handed them back to me saying she appreciated my honesty. I tried to explain that the quarter and dime were silver and that I would pay her the silver value for the coins - but she insisted I just keep them because I was honest with her.

Edit: just adding that this was a BWR box from BoA. I've been ordering a box a week from the same branch for a few months now and this one just payed out BIG time!
