I'm beginning to think about a Liberty Head V nickel collection...

For some reason, the 1955-P has been a very tough date for me to find. I don't think I have found a single one in circulation, in the hundreds of rolls I've searched through, or even in my local dealer's nickel junk box.

Wow Paul, that 55 P is awesome. It's very hard to find in that grade with what appears to be 5 full steps. I love it!

I just picked up another old Whitman album full of beautiful toners.
I did image most of them, but I'll keep the image post count down and show off some of my favorites.

My latest buy - PCGS PR70DCAM 5C S Type 1 - about the fifth one I bid on at various auctions. The population recently went up, I bought this one at a great price (30% less than my losing bid on the last one, just two months ago). I am a little worried that the recent increase in population may lead to a drop in price. As it is, I bought this at about half of book price so I'm feeling good.

I don't have a picture yet, but the 2013-P nickels have started showing up here -- and the two I've received so far have sharp inner edges on their rims, sharp enough to catch on skin. I haven't encountered this in previous years or in other denominations. Has anyone else noticed it?

I picked this up at a coin show last month. The previous owner removed it from the PCGS holder... I'm assuming he wanted to put it in an album. I'm considering having it reholdered.
