I haven't found all that much lately and haven't had too much time to look. Today I got two boxes of dimes (both skunk) and found one 1965 half dollar. In a box of pennies, though, I did find this:

Silver seems scarce (perhaps the holidays are over and fewer people are turning it in) but I can't really call it a bad day!

Got 2 Boxes and NOTTA first time of not getting any Silver in My boxes, BUT the lead teller asked Me if I wanted a Silver Quarter and of coarse I said YES.
So it was not a bust after all Silver is Silver and I'll take it.

Tabor - congrats on the 39-D...I'm jealous, because that is the last one I need to find from circulation.

I think my good luck may have returned (I seem to have much better luck with CWR)
I was really near the bank, so I thought, what the heck. I'll go get a dollar's worth of penny rolls (2 rolls.) I was feeling lucky.
It seems that I really was lucky. In total I found four wheat pennies, one of which filled in a spot in my Whitman folder.
    My good luck is back!:hail:

Thanks...I have been on a hot streak with nickels recently. Don't jinx it! Just kidding! :)

Other than the 1950D, what are the other coins considered "Key Dates"? I would think that the 1939D is a key date.

Today was good! I got 5 penny rolls, yielding one wheat (1947) and two Canadians (one was an ender!) Two nickel rolls got me a 1941 and a 1954. Nothing in 3 dime rolls, nothing in my quarter roll. The lovely teller spent ages looking for rolls with old looking coins on the end, and then she handed me a popsicle (it was boiling today, as everyone knows.) What a lovely teller. 100E2971.JPG 100E2974.jpg What the heck happened there?!

To quote my favorite Deniro movie quote..."Are you talking to me?"

(A close 2nd is "I've got nipples, Greg, can you milk me?" :)

Strange box of pennies and another of nickels today.

    Pennies:

63 wheaties! But nothing better than a 1917.

    Nickels, many before 1960, including:

4 gem BU 1959 (not kidding, full mint luster)
    2 AU/BU 1958
    a nice 1938
    3 war nickels

    10.00 in pennies
    63 pre 1970
    203 pre 1982
    7 wheats oldest 1941
    7 Canadian oldest 1965
2 rolls were short 7c & 8c the roll missing 8c had a brass slug and the 7c had a Pennie on its side. Have to be hard up to put a slug in a Pennie roll LOL.
