Thanks, i actually got a 1920 a little while back that i really like because you always see the 1945 re strikes, not to often the 1920's
Kipling, the green eyed monster took me when I feasted my eyes on that commemorative. There are only two I wish to own and the Oregon Trail is one of them. You truly do have a keeper!
These have recently been offered by the US Mint. A few stopped by my house late this afternoon.......
1964 Proof Set. I don't recall ever seeing so much color on a mint sealed Kennedy Proof. I will let you all know what PCGS says about this one. Worth a roll of the dice at least. I do like the pop and the smooth transitions of color. Whether it comes back NT/MA or AT ... it's an attractive coin (IMHO). At least I like it -- and I am the one that counts! Collect what you love, right?
Keep it in the cellophane and make sure it doesn't puncture. Then there won't be any question about the toning's originality. Very pretty coin, btw :thumb:
More Pickups today. My goal today was getting 10 eagles. Never happened. But I did get a few nice ones, along with my MS70 I got from a fellow member. 1881-S 1884-S 2011 MS70 2000-P Proof I paid a few bucks over spot. First Proof. Keep an eye out for the Morgans in the for sale thread within the hour.
I was looking for silver this week on ebay, ran across this and couldn't resist. I love the 3-D effect of the reverse, and Great Basin NP is a great place to visit too!
