    Anyone going?

This is a show that I've been thinking of attending for a number of years.
Since I live in Maryland the only big shows I can easily attend are the Baltimore Whitman shows since they are so close.

But I want to go to at least one Central States Coin Show and one FUN, just to say I've been there (not an impressive bucket list but it'll keep me happy).
Well, I decided this is the year for the Central States Coin Show.
I'm running out of time since I'm 81 and who knows how much longer I'll be around.
The show is at the end of April which this year happens to be a good time for me to go.

The only other big shows I've been to are:
-- ANA in Washington, DC years ago (close to home)
-- ANA in New Orleans 10-15 years ago
    -- EAC convention last year

If it's going to be in Schaumburg, IL again then I might check it out. It's practically in my backyard.

I'm 3 hours away so it is an easy one for me to get too. It's a good show. I always find some stuff that I "need".

I'll be there! Already booked. Probably on the Thursday and Friday.

I went to CSNS show back in 2000 when it was in Minneapolis. I still have the souvenir wooden nickel from it. Wish they would hold it in Minneapolis again as it's about five hours from me.

I have to say, that I like the Central States venue in Schaumburg (the Renaissance Center) MUCH better than the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemount. That road in front of the Stephens Center is super dangerous, even with the Rosemount police there to stop the area drivers from trying to run people over. The Schaumburg venue has the parking lot in the front of the center, not a major road!

You also have to pay to park in Rosemont. I live between both and used to go to the big world coin show in Rosemont but the parking and everything was a hassle. That's when it was at a hotel across the street.
