What is your favourite coin period?

    I would agree with CBJesse, Early American coins are just amazing! I want more! I NEED more!

    European pieces since (roughly) 1950, and particularly euro coins. :)

    All of the periods are my favorite. I can't narrow it down to just one or two. All coins have an interesting history to me.

    late 1800's to early 1900's American coins

    mostly with that. maybe the 20s-30s. that's when we had the Buffalo, Mercury, Standing Liberty, Walker, and Peace dollar.

    I think the 1960's was the pinnacle for
    coin collecting in America.

    I like Seated dollars the best. So,
    it would be 1840s to 1873.

    I agree. Those are my favorites too. The mercury is one of my favorite coins ever made. But there is something about a nice quality early Roosevelt dime that i love too. Maybe it's the silvery color or maybe it's just in finding them but i think they look really nice. And the Walking Liberty halves look really nice too.
