1939 CENT PMD but wow!

    The things that bother me about this one are the way the wheat shows through on the tip, and that bleb in the crows foot area next to the eye. What does this to a coin?

    It is a damaged coin. No idea how it happened.

    Just a tad evil minded it seems. What ever did this was sharp, hard, and has some pressure behind it. Zoom in on the lower part of the main reverse photo. No sliding there.

    It was caused by a re-sip ping reduction machine. Looks like it got jammed in the machine before it finished.
