Someone is going to be REAL angry when that package comes in. How lazy/ignorant can you be? This might be the craziest ebay sell ive ever seen related to coins. Do you think the seller will take the money and run? He did everything he could to ensure that people knew these were empty, Title, Description, and even Pictures. He couldnt have been more thorough, i think he should take the money and let the buyer just 'eat' this lesson.
wow. it's not like that top bidder is a newbie to ebay either. the seller does have a 14 day return period. i am interested to see how this all unfolds.
Yeah, if I were that seller, I'd cancel the auction -- I don't like either of the other alternatives, which are to ship the item, accept a return, and be out my time and shipping costs, or to get $200 and a negative feedback.
It was the 'last posted in' in the Coin Chat section, so it appeared on the main screen. You know how there's one from each section on the screen?
WOW! I once had a guy win a capped bust dime from me and immediately after the auction ended he emailed me saying he thought it was a capped half dollar. Nevermind the title said "1835 capped bust dime, 10c. coin." I learned a lon time ago that people don't read the description... but the TITLE???
Ah, I'd completely gotten out of the habit of going to the "home page". I didn't realize that the "latest posts" section on that page is still working.
I don't use the home page either. I was referring to the 'forum page', when you click 'FORUM'. All the sub-forums are on the left, and the newest post in the category is on the right.
The spot price of silver may be low, but the intrinsic value of US Mint packaging is as high as ever!
The buyer will just ask to cancel, not pay, and or give the seller a negative. Its always the sellers fault lol.
Well, he just had another auction end for SEVEN boxes at the bargain price of $63.77... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lot-of-7-20...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
I see what he did... all the coins that were in these sets were graded and listed by the same seller in separate auctions. Clever.... http://www.ebay.com/sch/coinb1000/m...%2B4%3D&orig_cvip=true&_trksid=p2047675.l2562
