Since you didn't mention anything about FBL which is ridiculously easy to get from PCGS $30 sounds about right.
Go to www.pcgs.com. Toward the bottom of the home page on left side, click on "certification validation" (or something like that) and type in the certification number from the front of your PCGS slab. This will give you the PCGS price guide value which is sometimes in the ballpark of true market value.

Four dollars? You got a deal. And to think that at one time, a 1953 was considered one of the keys of the Franklin series because it has the lowest mintage of the series. My 1969 Redbook lists a price of $13.50 for one in uncirculated condition. :thumb:
