unfortunately a lot of coins sold for 110 pounds it looks the hyped up market is falling back

 

Ah, but auction closes on 31 May. Those may be minimum starting bids. Not sure if they will post prices realized.

Hyderabad (Indian princely state). Half anna. 1910s, 1920s. The coin pictured is not mine but I do own one.

I have a piece from Bahawalpur and a Brit. Indian quarter Anna as well.

 

Here a WWII date Rupees a 1/4. Nice Ef coin.

It's a nice coin - but I wouldn't call it EF. I think there is too much wear on the obverse for that - just look at where the crown and the kings head meet.

who said India coins are not popular in United States ??? there is a huge following for India's coins here. World coin collectors cannot get enough of them. I personally like the silver rupee's. I posted my "Hands" India coins in my "coins with hands" thread. I will try and photograph my 3 silver rupees tomorrow.
