2013 Reverse Proof $50 Buffalos are coming !!!

I know it's bullion, but it's bullion with numismatical value...


They are coming soon !! I've been waiting for a looooong time for these.

Is this the one going on sale 5/23, or is this a 2nd offering later this year? I didn't see any other mentions of Buffalo's on a quick scan of the mint's calendar.

I think it sounds cool. At least they are shaking stuff up a little, and not charging, (assuming), a super high premium for something "different".

Wish they would do it more, change stuff up like they did on the APE set. Those are pretty attractive coins nowadays for a bullion issue.

 

Gold should be below $300/Oz by then...

 

Wonder if they will claim this is to mark the 100th anniversary of the buffalo nickel?

yeah, that's the catch. I love the gold Buffalos so I'll have to get one. I guess start saving now and figure what to sell to get some extra bucks.

 

well the silver 2 coin set is here and I am still 140 short. looks like its going to be a long year
