So sorry to hear about your loss Jello, losing a pet can be rough, I've been thru it to many times and it never gets easier.

Did you check the sender address? Someone, you don't know who, knows your home address? That's... kind of worrying.

Although it is freaky that someone knows your exact adress and that your turtle just happenned to pass away, that was a really nice thing to do.

Hope you get better from the loss soon, it's pretty hard to do.

No it's not....As some member here cared enough to do something nice for a fellow member. I'm sure that the person whom sent this coin knows Angelo very well as I do. And just wanted to give him a coin to remember Bart. I wish I had of thought to do so...I can share a few things about Bart....Yes Bart liked to watch TV Angelo said he would sit for hours watching TV and never once wanted the remote or complained about what was on TV!
Many times I have received a call from Angelo on the way to Walmart to buy worms for Bart...as in winter Walmart is the only place you can find fishing worms. I know how it feels to loose a pet no matter what kind. Angelo Had Bart for years more than I can recall.
To the member whom is responsible for this good deed...just know good Karma is going to get ya! Just as Bad will...and I personaly thank you also as Angelo is a good friend of mine. Your kindness is felt by all members as we all know that someone here made a big difference. :thumb:

I am so sorry to hear about losing your beloved turtle. I have never owned a turtle but since the age of 5 years old have never been without a dog. I have 3 dogs now and their all mini Rat Terriers. I never thought I would own a small dog as all of my dogs have been hunting dogs or hound dogs. Since I have acquired the first one about 13 years ago my son purchased an offspring of the Calif grand champion, his living situation changed and I got the dog from him, it is a male, Beaumont a magnificent dog, just beautiful. Beaumont and my little female got together several years ago and had a litter of pups, only one dog made it, his name is buddy. I am a retired old fart and spend most of my days with my three dogs, they are without question my companions and I love them with all of my heart.
I say all of this because I know when they pass on I will be a very broken hearted old man. I feel your pain my friend and I truly am sorry for your loss....DEX

    Here's beaumont...

  15. She is beautiful dex! Same here as dogs goes, we have 2 JRT's and one mix. Weather it's a dog, turtle, bird, fish, or even a rat, it's never easy

I hope you're not suggesting it was a homicide. I mean turtlecide. :D

We had a box tortise named Houdini who (ironically) disappeared overnight. My sympathies to you, and my kudos to the anonymous person that was kind enough to send you that coin.

I have a turtle named turts who also loves to watch tv and eat worms....who knew they all shared this passion....mine also likes to beg for worms at the side of his cage by standing up out of his water and he even does this to the dog not realizing that he has no hands and cannot dispense said worms to him...rip little bart, turtles can be good pets believe it or not.
