    Double struck coin+"Mate"

    Hi folks. :)
Thought I'd share my Double strike, second strike off-center coin. One of a few token errors I have that I will be posting.

Very nice. I see that on the second (off center) strike the reverse of your token was partially over an unstruck planchet (which caused the previously-struck features of your token to get smushed). So there is another token out there somewhere that has a partial brockage caused by your token.

Well Hobo, if it wasn't for your comment, I wouldn't have taken a second look at my other error token which happened to be a partial brockage. I thought "it sure would be neat if it had the same design". Sure enough, it did. But no way would I think that it is the mate to the double struck coin. The two fit perfectly together. Thank you for your insightful comment! Here's the 3 coins side by side.

That is something special. Having one or the other is certainly interesting but having the two together is great. Congrats on your super cool set.

Nah, a friend sent me these and I guess it just took me this long to realize that they are both pieces of a coin puzzle.;)

  9. I would still get some lottery tickets LOL. Even though it came from a friend, it's still pretty darn cool!!!!
