He just stated an observation. There was no malice behind his statement. He got bashed for one of the freedoms Mr. Lincoln died for. That's all I am saying. If he wanted to offend, I can think of a thousand mean things he could have said. He does look like he is in shackles and it is quite ironic.

Got bashed? C'mon. How is expressing my opinion bashing? And how did I know your argument was going to be "freedom of speech". It has nothing to do with the first amendment and no one questioned his right to say anything, only the tact in which it was said.
