Yes it does appear to have been cleaned based off your photos. This can be seen from the minute scratches running across both faces of the coin.

I figured it was. oh well i like it

it may have been polished

the fields look like a mirror proof but these were not made as proofs

it has the best strike out of the three i have.

 

If you like it that is all that matters

 

I love the King George Canadian coins! That one is really awesome, even if it is cleaned.

 

I must agree, it is still a really nice coin!

i have one more but its 1876 and not king George

 

the 1918 was $2 has purple tone mostly in the fields and in color looks like a almost new Lincoln penny

 

I really like the leaf design on the reverse of those.

 

Yeah...but what kind of leaves are they? ...they don't look like Maple leaves. They look more like White Oak leaves, but I can't find a reference that describes them in any detail...other than to say "a simple wreath of leaves."

They look like oak leaves to me, deffinately not maple
