Wait, wait, I think I see a little something in the fields that might affect the grade. Oh...it's just my reflection, boy am I a handsome devil  Seriously, 65 at the least, I don't see any distractions that will knock it down any. Beautificus indeed!
Yep, it's a MS66 and CAC'd. Probably one of my favorites in my collection! Thanks for all the comments
Not a new coin...but new pictures. the first photos try and show the cameo (which is nearly impossible to show). The second photos clearly show the massive amount of color of this coin. I think this is the first time i was able to actually show the color off on this coin.
The last three or four pages of coins have had some serious money laid out for them. Any of you frugal collectors bid in the Heritage Auction for the 1913 nickel? :>)
A new pickup today. Had to make a road trip and couldn't resist stopping at the coin shop. 1675 German 2/3 Taler I don't know much about it, but knew I had to have it for the price. Apparently NGC only has one graded higher which is cool too. Enjoy.
Here's an IHC that I snagged as well. Nothing too extraordinary, just some nice coloring going on and it's a mint state coin. Terribly difficult to image
The chase is over I think most collectors that have been collecting for any length of time has sold a coin or two that he or she regrets. I did so back in the late 80's when I sold my 1937 3 legged buffalo, my 1942/41 merc dime and my 1876 Proof seated quarter. Well I replaced the Buffalo and Merc with in the last 2 years but the 1876 proof quarter had been eluding me until last week. So after 24 years I finally found one that I could afford. Nice toning on the PCGS PR62 seated quarter, too bad the holder is scratched.
great coin, to bad you had to way so long to get it. a far a that scratch on the slab...get it put in a new NGC holder. problem solved.
