Mint lowers silver prices

    Still overpriced. Count me out.

    When silver was $35.00 and they were selling at $229.00, the premium was 30%. Now, with silver at, let's say $25.00, a selling price of $179.00 yields a premium of 45%.

    I think I did the math correctly. Anyway, on a premium percentage basis, the Mint is not really doing anyone any favors.

    these are the "numismatic" ones so the premium over silver seems less relevant

    That's true. I'll probably get the White Mountain and the Great Basin, if the price stays in this range.

    I'm not much on military parks, so the Perry Victory and Fort McHenry are not on my list. Also, I don't want a 5-ounce engraving of Thomas Jefferson's nose, so Mount Rushmore is a no-go.
