There you go, old school. My mom used to bring the old punch cards home to use as scratch paper. I should have kept some, along with my PC JR, just for memories.

Fate. There are several games in the series now. It's semi-open source because a great deal of the code was designed to be moddable, but the engine itself (in C++) is copyrighted, so you can't legally hack it. You can do a lot of non-3d modding to the game, but if you want to include your own modeling, you need 3ds max, version 7. The engine programmer only wrote exporters for version 7.

    Which 'Fate' game?

I can find a pair of possible games named Fate...

    With a short Google search...

Btw Steve, cool coin. I like Tyche quite a bit, especially seeing her on so dang many coins of various cultures.

I have to admit I haven't bought much in the last month. Between personal stuff and a couple of auctions with group lots requiring more than a couple of pennies, I have been sniping but my heart really isn't into it much.

Actually, I do. I remember being taught how to use one and then the slide rule came along and I thought technology just couldn't get much better. Of course, then along came the VIC 20.

I remember having to use one in Kindergarten...

I used to collect pokemon cards growing up as a kid(not that im not now,), and still have a collection of Pokemon/Yugioh Cards worth close to 3 grand, I would gladly sell them, planig on selling on ebay. It sounds funny when you saay Sandan, its Sandshrew, lol. If i were to get even some money from my thousands of cards I would buy more coins. That actually sounds like a great idea.

    This statement is so wrong...

    Where do I begin?

    Wait....

    You are younger than me...

    And I'm a YN...

    You are a kid!

I did well on my cards..

But I highly doubt you would get 3 grand (unless you spent a lot more than that [bar a few rare cards])...

    Different languages....

    It's really サンド

    (that is Japanese for Sand)

    Where's the dislike button? :p

I remember once somewheres else when Bing and Steve found out how old I was they said they had underwear older than me! Who would think that Bing had a pair dating to the early Byzantine period.

When I was a kid Magic the Gathering is where the Geeks enjoyed cards.

... I have never really been a computer gamer of any type ...

Man, I have a hard enough time getting a high-score in "real life", so I don't spend too much time trying to master video-life!!

For some reason, I didn't think you played computer games...

    I wonder why (Tech Amish)

I was, but not as a kid, (games sucked back then really). I was in WOW for a few years after my divorce, but I am feeling much better now. :)
