I think you said it best..."boom". Fantastic ladder, one I wouldn't mind walking under any day!

Although I wish it were a perfect 70PPQ full ladder, it is not. Go back and recount... LOL I am still very happy with its perfectness!

And to keep it going I am also happy to add this example to my collection and it matches my $2 1963 69PPQ:

Drats...the 4 is the wrench in the whole thing. Still an awesome note.

Newest pick-up. Not anything special, but I do love the color :)

    Best,

I wanted to get your guy's feedback regarding low serial numbers. I took a tiny risk and bought this Brazil note for only $3, saw it among a bunch of other foreign material at an antique store here in town. Do you think something like this would qualify as a low serial seeing as how it's only 6 digits?

Fantastic! Although by eBay standards, that's a ladder.

You know, the right margin looks ever so slightly larger than the left. I thought the threshold for a 70 is something like 0.1mm.

    Hi All
Latest finds to add to my collection. The T&T notes are one of my favorite series...

"Boom" is right! Forget the serial number — It's a PCGS Perfect New 70 PPQ! Holy smokes!

I think your real question is whether this serial number adds to the value of the note because it may be a low number.

In 25+ years of collecting world notes I have never seen collectors of any notes other than US notes give any significant premium to low serial numbers unless they were single digits. But then again, Ebay is a peculiar place and you might get the $20.00 you are asking for it.

It's worth a shot, I'm not asking a huge amount. I've had some good success selling fancy serial world notes.

Latest addition to my large size legal tender set.

I was surprised to find a stray security thread protruding from the edge of the note!

Nice pick up Funkee! I have found a couple notes in my collection that also had a fiber that wasn't severed during cutting. They don't have any premium attached to it but it is cool!

Here is my 2 additions to my serial 66 collection: I am particularly happy to get the Atlanta district...
