Picked up $3K from my various sources and dumped them. Then I happened to stop by a WF and the teller told me that he had $5K in halves that somebody ordered but never picked up. I don’t have an account with them, but they obviously wanted to unload the boxes so I snatched them up, along with $3K of halves from my other sources. Here’s the numbers:
Box #60 of Halves: 2-40% (1 Bicentennial Proof!)
    Box #61 of Halves: 1-40%
    Box #62 of Halves: Skunk
    Box #63 of Halves: 2-40%, 1-90%
    Box #64 of Halves: Skunk
    Box #65…
Ah Heck! Only 12-40% and 1-90% in the whole 22 boxes searched! Ugh! What a lousy return. :( This month’s average finds have quickly approached last month’s dismal numbers with this last poor run with only 1.136 40%/box and .358 90%/box.
I am only 2 skunk boxes away from my all-time 20 box moving average LOW.
But on the brighter side, this is a record number of boxes searched for the month! 81 boxes so far and still 2 days to search! And I guess I could celebrate that my skunk streak of 8 boxes hasn’t been beaten.
Did find some nice proofs and my second Atlanta Olympic Commemorative Half.

Saturday, I pushed my oldest nickel found back to 1884. But no silver.

Today I visited 4 banks. The third had $100 in halves in the vault plus $6 lose in trays. I bought them all. On the way out, the teller said there were "a lot of like 67's in the rolls." I was skeptical because all the wrappers were the same and they did not look all that old. I figured it was somebody's dump.

But when I got to the car, I found out she was right! 2 1964's, 2 1966's, 11 1967's, 13 1968's and 3 1969's! That is 31 silver coins and just over 5 ounces of silver.

Here they are, stacked in order, with the 2 64's in front:

    Mon searches:

    $280 Loomis MWR halves: skunk
$360 Loomis MWR dimes: 1 Roosie, 2 Canadians

Having good luck with the Canadian dimes I've been finding lately. After a '68 50%er the other day, today one of my Canadian dimes was a '59 80%er. Pretty good eh?

    The second half. $67+ worth.

I only did a quick sort for wheats and canadians so far, but the rest pretty much looks like the first half of the lot.

    37 wheats including: 18, 20d or s (really bad shape), 28,30, 36. The rest common 40s/50s.
    20 canadians: 16 pre-96, 4 steels

1 - 1917 british india 1/12 anna george v king emperor. If anyone can direct me on info on this coin, I would appreciate it. Thanks
