It was the first day of my paper route, there was one bad thing though, it was on Summit St. and it had an S shaped hill at a 45 degree angle and 2/3 of my route was on that street. Hope this helps.
This was the first Medal that my father gave me back when I was a young lad. It was produced by the Medallic Art Company (NY) and it measures approximately 3" in diameter. The old scan doesn't do this medal quite the justice it deserves but the memory of receiving it from Dad still endures and prevails to this day......
