MS61-FBL (didn't think there was such a thing). I would like to see a better picture of the Obverse, though.
Interesting question...I never thought of it before... Can an AU Frankie have a FBL designation? I would think "yes", but I've never seen one...interesting.
I just don't see the wear that would make this an AU coin...(sorry). I'll agree that the major TPGs likely won't grade this coin as FBL due to their literal interpretation of the designation...the scuff marks across the bell lines prohibit such a designation. However, there's another school of thought which suggests that special "strike" designations such as FBL, FB, FH, etc are designations of the "overall" strike quality of the coin...irrespective of any scuff marks it may have endured. I'm of that school of thought and feel this coin is well struck...and deserving of the FBL designation...(jmho).
I can't tell MS/AU from the pics, (and probably couldn't in hand for that matter), but it is forming some nice fingerprints on the obverse. Acetone bath, no rub or swirl, rinse with distilled water, kill the oils.
Better pic of the bell and i looked up FBL and this is the best pic I could get the lines whats you alls thoughts
