Blown Die Fully Collard Lincoln Cent

Found this Lincoln cent in a roll, it does not show the date as that is part of the blown die portion. The coin is fully Collard though and is a coated zinc cent. I've never seen a coin like it.:thumb:

I think maybe this is a nice find. Let me know your thoughts on how this came about.

    Tuesday searches:

    $130 Loomis MWR halves: skunk
$130 Loomis MWR dimes: 2 Roosies

Bad luck with halves lately but fortunately my good luck with dimes continues.

    Dateless and more Dateless

I had a good day today with pennies, dimes, and halves...but major nickel frustration!

    I found 3 40% silver halves.
    6 Silver Roosies and 2 Merc (44 and 44-D)
    a 1932-D penny

and, in one box, a 1945 war nickel AND 11 dateless Buffalos (including two that are type I)

in a second nickel box (from a different bank) 3 MORE dateless buffalos AND an 18?? dateless V nickel.

UGH! UGH! UGH! I wish they all had dates! The dimes were good to me, though.

That makes just over 500 silver US coins pulled from banks so far this year.

    Got a box of pennies.

Half were 2013's, which I kept a few rolls,

The other rolls yeilded (2) wheat pennies, (2) canadian. Nothing special. I hate pennies.

    Box #37 of Halves: Skunk
After searching half the number of boxes I searched last month, I almost matched the silver pulled. Last month was brutal.

    Box #38 of Halves: 3-40%
    Box #39 of Halves: 1-40%, 1-90%

My best and largest find to date!! Stopped by an Amegy Bank today asking for halves and they handed me an envelope with $19 in it. As they are counting it in front of me all I see is the beautiful color of silver...32 total!!!
    Break down: 12x64's and 20x40%ers :)

    Wed searches:

    $200 Loomis MWR halves: skunk
$290 Loomis MWR dimes: 2 Roosies

Today I found my oldest dime ('46) in my short time as a coin roll hunter. Also, two separate coin counting machines rejected Canadian coins (dime and quarter) that were not in with my dumps. Must have been stuck in there. Despite not dumping any pennies, another machine counted one of my dimes as a penny so I had to run back to my car to grab another dime. Happy hunting!

Stopped at a small town on my way out of town today. I've stopped there before without luck. This time all three banks had silver! Four 40%ers from the first, nine more from the second, and one more plus a 1953-d Ben Franklin at the last.

Fourteen 40%ers plus one Bennie total!

For some reason, about a month ago, I got a box that had about 30 BU 1956 & 1956D Nickels. They are still on my desk, as I'm not sure what to do with them.
