63.75mm; 112.2gm #3 of 4 Flea Market finds... This is in excellent condition, and appears to be silver. I'm puzzled about the small circular image at the bottom of the obverse; it appears to be a winged harpist contemplating an obelisk. Your medal is silver WW and was designed by Victor David Brenner (we all know who he was). I believe either his initials "VDB" or "V D Brenner appear on you medal so take a close look to see if it's there. The winged figure in the circle is a depiction of the Greek goddess of victory, Nike. Great pickup and a beautiful piece. Bruce

Is this THE 1909 Lincoln VDB? The same where if you had one from Frisco you could retire (1909 S-VDB)? I guess it's time for me to inform myself about that mythically rare penny.
