I found myself really admiring the reverse of a coin this afternoon and thought it might be a nice thread...

heraldic eagle on capped & seated liberties.

 

It isn't a US coin, but I love the reverse design on the proposed palladium coin which was very similar to the reverse of the Walking Liberty Half Dollar.

 

I have to say a Buffalo Nickel ......

 

I love the eagle on the reverse of standing liberty quarters.

lol, it's funny how in 1999 when every MLB player was on PED's/Juice, looks like the Eagle on that coin was as well! Thats most buffed-out Eagle I have ever see, now we know why

 

Never noticed that before, but now that I see those gorgeous pecks on that Eagle, I am more in love with it. LOL! :thumb:

Today had some great examples! It's funny, the Barber rev. looks SO much better in XF than UNC in my opinion.... nice post there....
