Well, I said before that if everything works out I will be getting a lot of coins. I just ordered a lot of coins, 19 of them to be exact. It's possible that I will be getting a few more later on since my birthday is coming up.

Here is the first one. I haven't attributed it yet but if you guys want to, go ahead. It's a Claudius I Quadrans. I've been wanting one of these for awhile now. This is the seller's image. I don't have it in hand yet.

I only paid $7 for this Nero - Genio Augusti, so I'm not complaining but I will be getting a better one later, for sure. It was an order filler of sorts.

Here is the largest order of a group lot of 16 coins. Some of the emperors are as follows per row from left to right, I think. I will know for sure once I receive them in hand.

Severus Alexander, Marcus Aurelius, Sabina, Hadrian, Hadrian

Julia Mamaea, Gordian III, Septimius Severus, Gallienus, Salonina

Caracalla, Gallienus, Valerian I, Salonina, Valerian I, Mariniana

I'm pretty sure that's what these are, but it's hard to tell with some of them. When I receive in hand I will be posting and attributing them.

Looks like it might be a good haul. You'll have to post them one by one once you have them and maybe clean them up a bit.

As long as you guys don't mind, I could post them one at a time. Some of them I will of course. Yeah, some of them might clean up a bit. I don't see too many of them improving though.

Lemon juice works well with any silver coin that is "pure" silver. Do not use it on plated coins, as it can cause the plating to flake off, since it attackes the bronze underneath.

I see someone else buying some group lots, eh? Well played sir, well played.

Good stuff, Gil, my junk bin brother. It'll be fun to go through that lot and attribute everything. :thumb:

Excellent pickups! Some of these I've seen listed. That seller is good for those on a budget, like us lol.

I like this coin very much, but I'm having trouble with the attribution. ERIC doesn't list the Obverse/Reverse combinations as an As, and Wildwinds only has an RIC 175 and 175 var. What is 175b?

Or is it a dupondius or sestertius, depending on whether Laetitia is holding a wreath or a patera? - it looks to me like it could go either way...

That is one coin I need to research a bit. If it's not in ERIC I, try ERIC II.
