Yeah, that is kind of a keeper. Very nice 93s. Mine that I posted is only XF-45 and I held onto it, when I sold my full Morgan set. Replaced the AU 50 one in the set that I sold with that one as posted. Yours is beautiful--as nice as they get without being MS, and requiring a second mortgage.
Yea, I figured that if I sold it, I may never have the opportunity to own another one. These days I just collect proofs and nice PLs. Here are a couple of my favorite proofs. I love the golden peripheral toning on this 1880, it is my favorite Morgan proof. This 1881 was my first proof Morgan. I wish that I had a reverse image of this nice 1878-CC, but it is the coin that I cut up my couch to rescue after I thought that I lost it. There was a pretty funny thread about it. http://www.cointalk.com/t216383/ BTW Morgandude, that golden 1887 proof of yours is stunning, it sure would make a great addition to my proof set.
Better date...1903-S. Unfortunately, not good condition (or maybe, just "Good"?). What condition WOULD you call this one? Rob
