Just got this Lincoln. I don't have much experience with them but I thought it was cool. I'm thinking it was treated with MS70 but I didn't pay much regardless and it is for the woman's wheatie collection. She'll like it
I found this 1884 O laying around the office today strange tone but very cool in hand...don't know if it looks as good from my image
gbroke and that other dudes rainbow toned nickels have me drooling. those are amazing. wow. they took my breath away. thanks for posting them. here's an obverse pic of a rainbow toned merc dime. pretty red's into the face. i will photograph the reverse tomorrow hopefully.
wow gorgeous toned nickels. envy is the word. second from the bottom 1947 wow gorgeous colors. ever thought of slabbing some of these ? after looking at your toned coins and gbrokes you guys got me thinking about buying more rainbow toned coins. hmmmm I am gonna do it in the long run. coin priorities.
Most of the nickels I've been told have graded. They sold too fast for me to have them graded but the buyers did. I think the 47 is a 66* maybe 67*
Ya its 1875-P MS 63 Pcgs under graded it I think. Toned coin Pcgs under graded if your not a big $ Account. Rocket City Coin club we only send in about 20-50 coins a year. So were not a top 10
I have a good feeling this will be in my next PCGS submission. Fingers crossed for MS65, my jaw might hit the floor if it comes back MS65+
Pictures are not the best sorry took these pics with my iPhone. Got this baby for $27 off of eBay. NGC MS64 with beautiful light toning on it. No where near as nice as Dex's heard running wild on here but hey I am building on it. Thanks for looking. View attachment 250221 View attachment 250222
Unless those images are hiding a lot of chatter (which they might be), I think a 65 is easily obtainable. Great pickup.
