The accurate term is American Silver Eagle, They are bullion and worth silver value of one ounce.

It's a silver eagle. With 99% silver, it worth spot + some premium. From the pics, does the coin show wear or is it just the toning? Closer pics would be better..

I guess it's the poor lighting, but it looks counterfeit. If real, it is worth its weight in silver bullion plus one or two dollars.

A magnet does not need to stick to a piece in order for it to be a counterfeit.

What's some of the other things to look for on a counterfeit

What does it weigh? What is the diameter? Again, it may be the lighting; but it looks wrong.

Definitely looks counterfeit to me as well. Compare it to another and see how it looks.

The toned ones always look fake to my eyes, just something about the patina sits wrong with me. Here are a couple copied from the bay as comps......

I'd say yours is real and worth $40 or so and wouldn't worry much about the grade since the value only really changes if it's in MS-70. Nice coin!

I have heard that a good way to tell the fake ones is if placed obverse down on a table,it will rock and not sit flat on the rim due to the fact that the makers sometimes have to make it weigh out to an ounce by adding too much metal to the design, so for example the face of lady liberty will stick out too far causing the coin to not sit flat on the outside rim (if that makes sense).

Well I had a better look, I don't know why but now I actually enlarged the pics, I don't know why I missed it earlier. :D Anyway the coin now, looks real to me. Value is around $30 or as much as someone will give you for it. As far as a grade, ASE's normally grade high but I don't know what yours will grade.

Cazkaboom One for all, all for me.

Nothing screams fake to me. Just looks like an AU Eagle. Worth about $30

I didn't realize that the Chinese heavily counterfeited ASE's until I took a look at our friends over on AliExpress... buy in bulk lots at $2.90 each. Notice the specs are slightly off from the genuine version. It gives me an uncomfortable feeling anyway, as these could be dumped to "less than knowledgeable" buyers at flea markets or sold on Craigslist:
